v1.4.0
BotGG 1.4.0: Tournaments, Weekly Quests and Clans
Three new features to keep your community playing together, plus the 1.3.4 fixes: time zones for reminders, no more ghost lobby setups.
Three new features to keep your community playing together. All three are off by default; turn them on in the console.
Tournaments
Run full tournaments inside Discord with /tournament (Console → Tournaments):
- Single or double elimination (with a losers bracket) or round robin.
- Solo or team sign-ups, plus optional check-in.
- A private room for every match, where both sides report the score and staff settle disputes.
- A live bracket in Discord and a public bracket page to share.
- Coin prizes for the top 3.
Weekly Quests
New challenges every week with /quests (Console → Quests): send messages, hang out in voice, react, invite friends, join giveaways and more.
- Personal quests with XP and coin rewards.
- A community goal the whole server works on together.
- 15 ready-made quests to pick from, or build your own.
Clans
Let members form their own crews with /clan (Console → Clans):
- Each clan gets its own role and optional private channels.
- Leader, officers and members, with invites and join requests.
- A shared clan bank and a weekly leaderboard.
Also in this update (1.3.4)
- Time zones. If your server still runs on UTC, the console shows your local time next to it and switches the server to your time zone in one click. Changing the time zone now moves existing reminders and scheduled posts to the right hour, and the console warns you when the feature is off and scheduled posts won't be sent.
- Lobbies: deleting a join-to-create channel in Discord now removes its setup in the console right away (and records it in the Audit Log) instead of leaving a "ghost" setup.
- Saving settings: a field with only spaces (title, button label, placeholder…) no longer blocks the save; it falls back to the default. Fixed in 16 features.
- Stability: pages that check bot permissions in many channels no longer fail when Discord is busy, and an open console tab no longer shows a server error after an update.
