Discord staff activity tracker: moderator stats, duty shifts and a staff leaderboard

BotGG Staff tools turns the work your team already does into numbers: tickets claimed and closed, moderation cases, application votes, appeal decisions and modmail replies, counted per staff member. Add /duty shifts with an on-duty role, a weighted leaderboard and alerts when someone stops showing up.

What you get

Stats from real work

Counted from Tickets, Moderation, Applications, Appeals and Modmail, with average first response and resolution time. Automatic moderation actions are not counted.

Duty shifts

/duty on starts a shift and can give an “On duty” role; /duty off ends it and shows its length. Idle shifts end on their own after the hours you set.

Weighted leaderboard

/staff leaderboard ranks your team by score. You decide how many points a closed ticket, a case, a vote or an hour on duty is worth.

Teams by role

Pick up to 25 staff roles and give each a team name like Support or Moderators. Stats, filters and charts in the console follow those teams.

Inactivity alerts

A daily check lists staff with no actions or shifts for the number of days you choose and can mention a role. Available on Pro.

Weekly staff report

Every week on your chosen day and time: top staff, actions, tickets, cases, response times and duty hours compared with the week before. Available on Pro.

How it works

  1. Enable Staff tools

Open https://console.botgg.app, choose your server and switch on Staff tools. Add your staff roles with team names and, if you like, an on-duty role.

  2. Tune the score

Set the points per metric, the channels where staff messages count, and the idle hours after which a shift ends automatically.

  3. Staff work as usual

Moderators handle tickets, cases, applications, appeals and modmail as they always do, and use /duty on and /duty off for shifts.

  4. Review the numbers

Use /staff stats and /staff leaderboard in Discord, or the Overview, Members and Shifts tabs in the console, each with one range filter for every chart.

Know who carries your moderation team

Most servers have a few moderators who do most of the work and a few who joined the team and disappeared. Staff tools makes that visible without asking anyone to fill in a spreadsheet: it reads the tickets, cases, applications, appeals and modmail threads BotGG already records and adds them up per person. Ticket stats skip people closing their own tickets, and only cases made by hand (command, console or API) count.

Stats cover the last 7 days on the Free plan and up to 365 days on Pro. Staff tools only counts messages in the staff channels you choose; it never stores message text.

  • /duty on · /duty off: start or end your shift
  • /duty status [member] · /duty who: who is on duty and for how long
  • /staff stats [member] [period]: one staff member’s numbers, score and rank
  • /staff leaderboard [period]: the top 10 by weighted score

A staff dashboard in the console

The Overview tab shows totals with the change from the previous period, actions per day, top staff, cases by type and actions by team. Members has a sortable table with a drill-down for each person, and Shifts shows who is on duty now, a shift timeline and duty hours per week. A manager can end a forgotten shift with one click.

Every chart has a data-table view, and the Settings tab shows a live preview of the weekly report in your server’s language before it is posted.

Frequently asked questions

How do I track staff activity on Discord?

Enable Staff tools in the BotGG console and choose your staff roles. The bot counts each member’s tickets, moderation cases, application votes, appeal decisions and modmail replies, and shows them with /staff stats and in the console.

How do duty shifts work?

Staff run /duty on when they start and /duty off when they finish. The bot logs the shift, can give and remove an on-duty role, and ends a shift by itself after the idle hours you set or when someone loses the staff role.

How is the staff score calculated?

Each metric has a weight from 0 to 20 that you set in the console, for example 3 points per closed ticket. Duty time counts per hour and staff-channel messages per 25 messages. Equal scores share a rank.

Does it count automatic moderation?

No. Only cases created by a moderator through a command, the console or the API count. Automod, escalation, anti-raid and anti-nuke actions are left out.

What is included in the free plan?

Stats, duty shifts and the leaderboard are free with 7 days of history. Pro extends history to 365 days and adds the weekly report and inactivity alerts. See pricing.
