A public appeal page
One link per server: members sign in with Discord, see the server, the ban reason and case number (if you allow it) and fill in your form. Post it in your rules or on your website.
Banned members can’t reach your server — so give them a proper door. BotGG puts an “Appeal this ban” link in every ban DM, checks with Discord that the person really is banned, collects structured answers and hands them to your staff with one-click Approve, Reject and Ask question.

Short text, paragraph, yes/no and choice questions with required flags, length limits and help text. Free servers get 3 questions, Pro up to 15.
The page checks with Discord that the signed-in account is banned in your server. Everyone else gets a friendly “you’re not banned” instead of a form.
Each appeal lands in your staff channel with the answers, the ban case, account age and earlier cases. Approve, Reject, Ask question and Claim are buttons — only reviewer roles can press them.
One open appeal at a time, a cooldown after a rejection (30 days by default), a maximum number of appeals per ban and an optional waiting period after the ban.
Approving unbans the member with “Appeal #N approved by …” in the audit log, logs an unban case when Moderation is on and DMs them a fresh single-use invite.
In the BotGG console enable Ban appeals, pick a review channel and reviewer roles, and adjust the questions and cooldowns.
Every ban DM from Moderation now carries an “Appeal this ban” button. You can also copy the link from the console or use /appeals link.
They sign in with Discord, answer your questions and follow the status on the same page — including any question your staff asks them.
Use the buttons under the appeal in Discord or the Appeals page in the console with filters, internal notes and the full conversation. /appeals list shows what’s open.
Without an appeal form, banned members come back on alt accounts, flood staff DMs or give up on your community for good. A clear appeal process keeps bans fair and moderation calm: every appeal is numbered, answered in the same format and decided once — a Discord click and a console click can’t both decide it.
Everything the member sees is in their language (English, Russian or Hebrew), and every DM says which server sent it. Decided appeals are deleted automatically 12 months after the decision.

No. The appeal page makes people sign in with Discord and checks with Discord that the account is banned in your server. Each member can have one open appeal at a time, with a cooldown after a rejection and a maximum per ban.
Administrators and the reviewer roles you choose. Buttons pressed by anyone else are refused. In the console, people who can manage the server see the Appeals page.
BotGG unbans the member with the reason “Appeal #N approved by …”, creates an unban case if Moderation is enabled, and DMs them the approval with a fresh single-use invite. The invite is also shown on the appeal page.
Yes. The appeal page always shows the current status, staff questions and the decision, so DMs are only a bonus.
