Discord server network bot: shared bans, bridge channels and one leaderboard

Run several Discord servers? With a Network plan they become one server network: a ban in one server reaches the others, linked channels chat across servers, one announcement goes everywhere, members move coins between servers and earn a joint XP rank. Each server decides what it takes part in.

What you get

Shared bans

A ban made with BotGG (or, if you allow it, a manual Discord ban) in one server is applied in the others with the reason “Network ban from <server>”. Unbans can travel too. Start in alert-only mode to watch before anyone is banned.

Built-in safety

The server owner, members whose role is above the bot and everyone on the network’s allow list are never banned. Trusted sources, an hourly cap per server and a log channel in every server keep a compromised staff account from wiping your community.

Bridge channels

Link one channel per server into a named bridge. Messages show up in the other servers with the author’s name and avatar plus “• server”; edits and deletes follow. Nobody gets pinged, and every receiving server’s own phishing and bad-word filters apply.

Network announcements

Write once with the visual message builder and post it to the chosen channel of every server that receives announcements, now or at a set time. You see per-server results in the console.

Coin transfers

Each server keeps its own Bank. With /network pay members move their own coins from one network server to another 1:1, minus a fee you set, with a minimum and a daily limit.

Joint leaderboard

Levels XP from every server that opts in is added up per member — in the console and with /network leaderboard. Hidden members stay hidden.

How it works

  1. Get a Network plan

Network 5 covers up to 5 servers from $19.99 a month, Network 15 up to 15. Pick the servers on the Billing page of https://console.botgg.app — together they are your network.

  2. Switch it on in each server

Turn on Server Network in every member server. Its staff choose what the server takes part in: sharing bans, receiving them (alert only or ban), bridges, announcements, transfers and the leaderboard.

  3. Set the network rules

The plan owner is the network admin: name the network, pick trusted servers, fill the allow and block lists, create bridges and set the transfer fee.

  4. Use it in Discord

Moderators ban as usual or use /network ban; members chat in bridge channels, check /network leaderboard and send coins with /network pay.

One network, every server in control

A server network on Discord usually means copy-pasting bans, reposting announcements by hand and asking members to grind XP from zero in each server. BotGG does the federation for you, while every server keeps its own settings: nothing is shared until that server’s staff opt in, and the network admin only sets the rules that apply to everyone.

Network bans are applied by a restart-safe queue in every server, with a log entry for each result (banned, already banned, skipped because of the role order, allow-listed…). Bridges store only message ids for 7 days to mirror edits and deletes — never message content. Combine it with Moderation for automatic bans and with Announcements for the same message builder.

  • /network info: the network, its servers and what this server takes part in
  • /network leaderboard: the joint XP leaderboard
  • /network pay: move your own coins to another network server
  • /network ban: staff ban here and share it with the network, with a reason

Frequently asked questions

What is a Discord server network?

Several servers run by the same team that share moderation and community features. With BotGG the servers covered by one Network or White Label subscription form the network automatically.

Can a ban in one server ban the user everywhere?

Yes, if the source server shares its bans and the other servers receive them in ban mode. Servers can also receive bans as alerts only, and the network admin can limit sharing to trusted servers.

Will it ban my server owner or my moderators?

No. The server owner, members whose highest role is at or above the bot’s and anyone on the network’s allow list are never banned by the network.

Do bridge channels need special permissions?

The bot needs Manage Webhooks in each linked channel, and Message Content to relay text. Copies never ping anyone and pass each receiving server’s phishing filter.

Which plans include Server Network?

Network 5 ($19.99 per month), Network 15 and White Label. Free and Pro servers see an upgrade page instead. See pricing.
