Copyright, Takedown & Law-Enforcement Requests

Version 1.0 · Effective 26 September 2026
This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It explains how to report content that infringes copyright or is otherwise unlawful, and how we respond to requests from authorities.
1. What we can and cannot remove
The Service runs inside Discord, so most content that users see is on Discord.
What we can act on is content that we store or control, for example:
- ticket transcripts;
- backups and message archives;
- starboard previews;
- Flows data;
- welcome or rank card background images configured in the console;
- White Label branding;
- anything on https://botgg.app or https://console.botgg.app.
We can also disable a feature, Flow, Custom Bot or Tenant, or make the bot leave a Server.
What we cannot delete is content that users post directly in Discord, including messages the bot has already posted there. Only Discord or the Server's staff can delete those. For content on Discord, please also report to Discord (https://dis.gd/report) or to the Server's staff.
2. Reporting copyright infringement (notice and takedown)
We respond to clear notices of alleged infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), Israeli law (including the Copyright Law, 5768-2007) and other laws that apply. Send your notice to info@botgg.app with the subject "Copyright notice". It must include:
- your physical or electronic signature (or that of a person authorised to act for the rights holder);
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough information for us to locate it. Examples are the Server ID, the feature (for example a transcript or backup), message links or the URL;
- your name, address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act on its behalf.
We may forward your notice, including your contact details, to the person responsible for the material. Knowingly false notices can make you liable for damages.
3. Counter-notice
If material you are responsible for was removed or disabled and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to info@botgg.app. It must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material and where it appeared before it was removed;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number;
- a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found) and will accept service of process from the person who made the original notice.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material after 10 to 14 business days, unless the complaining party tells us it has started court proceedings.
4. Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts, Servers, Custom Bots or Tenants of users who repeatedly infringe.
5. Other illegal content
To report other content you believe is illegal (for example child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, threats, fraud or privacy violations) in content we store or control, write to info@botgg.app. Explain:
- why you believe it is illegal;
- where it is (Server ID, feature, links);
- how to contact you (you may report anonymously, except for intellectual-property reports).
We review reports promptly and act under our Acceptable Use Policy. We report child sexual abuse material to the competent authorities and to Discord.
6. Law-enforcement requests
6.1. Legal process required. We disclose user data to government or law-enforcement authorities only when we believe in good faith that the law requires us to, and only in response to valid legal process under Israeli law. Examples are a court order, a warrant, or a demand authorised by law. Foreign authorities should use the applicable mutual legal assistance treaty (MLAT) or other international cooperation channels with the State of Israel. We review each request for legal validity and scope, and we may object to requests that are overbroad or unclear.
6.2. Emergencies. We may disclose limited information without legal process where we believe in good faith that it is needed to prevent imminent danger of death or serious physical harm to a person.
6.3. User notice. Unless the law, a court order or an emergency prevents it, we will try to notify the affected user before disclosing their data, so they can seek legal protection.
6.4. What we have. We hold only the data described in our Privacy Policy. We do not hold Discord's data about users (for example IP addresses used on Discord, email addresses or phone numbers of Discord accounts, or messages not processed by our features). Requests for that data should go to Discord.
6.5. How to send requests. Send requests from an official government address to info@botgg.app, with the subject "Law-enforcement request". Include the legal basis, the requesting authority and officer, and the specific Discord user or Server IDs concerned.
6.6. Preservation. On a valid preservation request we will preserve the relevant available data for up to 90 days while formal legal process is obtained.
