Discord partnership bot: partner directory, ads, requests and bump reminders

BotGG keeps a partner directory for your server, posts each active partner’s ad in your partner channel and checks every partner invite once a day. Other servers apply with /partner apply or a public form, and your staff accept or deny them with one click.

What you get

Partner directory

Name, invite, description, representatives, tags, notes and a start date for each partner. Member and online counts and the server icon come straight from the invite. Up to 10 partners on Free, 200 on Pro.

Partner ads that stay current

The bot posts one ad per active partner in your partner channel, edits it when the entry changes and removes it when a partnership is paused or ended. Use the generated ad or design your own in the message builder.

Daily requirement checks

Every partner invite is checked once a day: still valid, permanent if you require it, and above your minimum member count. Failing partners are flagged in a staff channel and can be paused automatically.

Partnership requests

Applicants use /partner apply or a public web form. A review card with member counts and requirement results lands in your requests channel with Accept and Deny buttons.

Bump reminders

BotGG notices when someone bumps your server with a bump bot, thanks them and pings your chosen role when the cooldown is over. It never sends bump commands itself.

Your ad, ready to copy

Save the text partners should post for you. Anyone can copy it with /partner ourad, and it’s added to the DM an applicant gets when their request is accepted.

How it works

  1. Turn on Partnerships

Open https://console.botgg.app, pick your server and enable Partnerships. Choose the partner channel for ads and the channel where new requests should appear.

  2. Add your partners

Paste a partner’s invite: the console looks it up and shows the server, its member count and an ad preview. Add representatives, tags and notes.

  3. Set your requirements

Pick a minimum member count, require permanent invites if you want, choose a staff channel for alerts and after how many days of failing checks a partner is paused.

  4. Review requests

Share /partner apply or the public form link. Reviewers accept or deny on the card in Discord or in the console, and the applicant gets a DM with the decision.

How partnership management works on Discord

Partnerships are one of the oldest ways to grow a Discord server, and one of the most tedious to run: ads go stale, invites expire and partners quietly shrink below the size you agreed on. BotGG takes over that routine. Partner ads never ping anyone, a partner that also runs BotGG with Partnerships turned on gets a Verified BotGG partner badge, and a paused or ended partnership takes its ad down by itself.

Bump detection works from the bump bot’s reply to its slash command, so it doesn’t need Message Content. If the bot has Message Content access, BotGG also checks the success text so “please wait” replies don’t count. Pair Partnerships with Invites & Rewards to see which of your invites bring people in, and with Announcements for fully custom ad designs.

  • /partner apply: send a partnership request (opens a short form)
  • /partner list: this server’s active partners with their invite links
  • /partner ourad: the ad text partners should post, ready to copy
  • /partner bump: last bump, who did it and when the next one is available

Frequently asked questions

What is a Discord partnership bot?

A bot that runs server partnerships for you: it keeps a list of partner servers, posts their ads, checks their invites and handles new partnership requests. BotGG does all of this from one page in the console.

How do other servers apply to partner with us?

With /partner apply in your server, or through a public form link from the console where they sign in with Discord. Each person can have one pending request at a time, and you can turn requests off whenever you like.

What happens when a partner’s invite expires?

The daily check marks the partner as failing and posts an alert in your staff channel, repeated weekly while it keeps failing. If you set auto-pause, the partner is paused after that many days and its ad is removed.

Does BotGG bump my server?

No. BotGG never sends bump commands. It notices when a member bumps with a bump bot, can thank them, and pings your chosen role when the next bump is available.

How many partners can I add?

Up to 10 active or paused partners on the Free plan and 200 on Pro. Ended partnerships don’t count. See pricing.
