Discord community goals bot: targets your whole server reaches together

Community Goals gives your server something to chase together. Set a target, and members either chip in Bank coins or simply keep the server growing while the bot counts members, messages or boosts on its own. A live panel shows the progress bar, top contributors and the rewards waiting at 100 %.

A community goal panel in Discord

What you get

Coin goals with escrow

Members put coins in with /goal contribute or one-click amount buttons. Every coin is held safely, contributions stop exactly at the target, and nobody can overpay.

Goals that count themselves

Reach 1,000 members, 50,000 messages or 14 boosts: the bot updates the progress every few seconds, with no contributions needed.

A live progress panel

Progress bar and percentage, amount and target, contributors, deadline, the top 3 and the rewards, kept up to date in the goal’s channel.

Milestones worth celebrating

Optional posts at 25, 50 and 75 % and a completion post that thanks the top contributors and can ping a role. Each one is posted exactly once.

Rewards when you get there

A role for every contributor, a role for the top contributors and bonus coins for everyone or the top N, all handed out automatically when the goal is reached.

Deadlines with fair refunds

Give a goal a deadline. If time runs out, coin goals refund every contributor or keep the coins, your choice. Cancelling a goal always refunds.

How it works

  1. Turn on Community Goals

Open https://console.botgg.app, choose your server and switch on Community Goals in the Engagement section (and the Bank for coin goals). The /goal commands then appear in your server.

  2. Create a goal

Use the goal editor in the console, with a live Discord preview, or run /goal create: a title, what it counts, the target, an optional deadline and the rewards.

  3. Members push it forward

They press an amount button on the panel or use /goal contribute, or the bot counts members, messages or boosts for them. The bar fills up for everyone to see.

  4. Celebrate together

At 100 % the goal completes by itself: the bot announces it, thanks the top contributors and hands out the rewards. Staff can also complete or cancel it early.

Goals that are exact, fair and safe for your economy

Each coin contribution leaves the member’s Bank balance in the same step that updates the goal, so the progress, the per-member cap and the completion stay exact even when dozens of members click at once. A minimum contribution and an optional maximum per member keep one wallet from finishing the goal alone.

Refunds and reward payouts happen exactly once, even if the bot restarts in the middle, and run even when the feature has been switched off, so no coins stay locked. Free servers can run 2 active goals at a time and Pro servers 20.

Frequently asked questions

What is a community goal on Discord?

A target the whole server works toward together, like pooling 50,000 coins for a new channel or reaching 1,000 members. Everyone sees the same progress bar, and the rewards arrive when the bar is full.

What can a goal count?

Coins that members contribute from the Bank, or things the bot counts by itself: the number of members, messages sent since the goal started, or server boosts.

What happens to the coins if a goal fails?

You choose per goal: refund every contributor when the deadline passes, or keep the coins as spent. Cancelling a goal always gives everyone their coins back, and members can get a DM about the refund.

Can I reward the people who helped?

Yes. Give a role to every contributor, a special role to the top contributors, and bonus coins to everyone or only the top ones. Dangerous roles (with admin-level permissions) are never handed out automatically.

How many goals can run at once?

Free servers can have 2 active goals at a time and Pro servers 20. Ended goals don’t count. See pricing for every plan.
