Discord server report: a daily, weekly or monthly digest for owners and staff

Owner Digest sends you a short summary of your server on a schedule: every day, every week or every month, at the hour you choose in your server’s time zone. Joins and leaves compared with the period before, messages, the busiest channels, tickets, Churn Radar, the Server Doctor score and the appeals and applications waiting for a decision. Numbers only, no message content.

A weekly digest in the owner’s DMs

What you get

Your schedule

Daily, weekly on the weekday you pick, or monthly on a day from 1 to 28, at the hour you set. Each report covers the full previous day, week or month.

Growth with context

Joins, leaves, net change, member count and messages, each with ▲ or ▼ against the previous period of the same length, plus the busiest day.

Tickets and queues

Open and overdue tickets, tickets opened and closed, and the ban appeals and applications still waiting for your team.

Health and quiet regulars

The latest Server Doctor score with the top 3 open recommendations, and how many regulars are at risk, went quiet or came back.

DM, channel and push

Sent as a DM to the owner and staff you choose, optionally posted in a staff channel too, with a web push heads-up from the console.

Easy to stop

Every DM has an Unsubscribe button that works right away. Admins can see who unsubscribed and add someone back in the console.

How it works

  1. Enable Owner Digest

Open https://console.botgg.app, choose your server and switch on Owner Digest in the Utility section.

  2. Choose when and who

Pick daily, weekly or monthly and the hour, keep the owner as a recipient or not, and add staff members. Optionally choose a staff channel.

  3. Choose what’s in it

Switch sections on or off. Sections of features you don’t use, such as Tickets or Churn Radar, are left out by themselves.

  4. Preview, then relax

The Preview tab shows the next digest exactly as it will look. Send yourself a preview DM, even before the feature is on, then let it arrive on schedule.

Know how your server is doing without opening a dashboard

Busy owners don’t open a stats page every day. The digest brings the important numbers to them: is the server growing, where are people talking, which tickets are overdue, which regulars went quiet and what needs a decision. Each section only appears when its feature is on, so a small server gets a short message and a large one gets the full picture.

A digest is sent once per period, even after a restart, and a slot missed by more than a few hours is skipped rather than sent late. Up to 1 person can receive it by DM on the Free plan, including the owner, and up to 10 on Pro; the staff channel copy doesn’t count.

Numbers only

The digest is built from counters BotGG already keeps: daily member stats, Insights, Tickets, Churn Radar, Server Doctor, Ban appeals and Applications. It doesn’t read messages and it doesn’t write AI summaries; every line is a real number. Owner Digest has no slash commands: it is set up in the console and runs on its own.

Slash commands

No slash commands — everything is configured in the web console and runs automatically.

Free vs Pro

Every feature works on the Free plan. Pro raises the limits and unlocks extras.

Frequently asked questions

Can a Discord bot send me a weekly server report?

Yes. Enable Owner Digest in the BotGG console, choose weekly and the weekday and hour, and BotGG sends you a summary of the last 7 days by DM: growth, activity, busiest channels, tickets, quiet regulars, server health and pending decisions.

Who receives the digest?

The server owner by default, plus the staff members you add, up to 1 DM recipient on the Free plan and 10 on Pro. You can also post it in a staff channel, and console members can get a web push when it is ready.

Does it read our messages?

No. The digest only uses counters BotGG already stores, such as the number of messages per day and per channel. No message content is read and no AI text is generated.

How do I stop getting it?

Press Unsubscribe under any digest DM. It takes effect at once, and an admin can add you back in the console if you change your mind.

Can I see a digest before turning it on?

Yes. The Preview tab shows the next digest exactly as it will look, and Send preview now DMs it to you only, even while the feature is still off.

Ready to level up your server?

Add BotGG for free, then switch features on in the web console.
