LFG cards with live slots
/lfg create opens a short form — mode, description, players needed, rank requirement, expiry. The card shows who joined and the open slots, with Join, Leave and Close buttons.
Finding teammates shouldn’t take longer than the match. The BotGG Discord LFG bot lets members post a group with /lfg create, pings the players who want it and can spin up a temporary voice channel. Members link their game accounts, show a profile card and check Steam or League of Legends stats — a game stats bot and LFG in one.
/lfg create game:Valorant voice:True

@Valorant LFG — @Alex is looking for players for Valorant!
/lfg create opens a short form — mode, description, players needed, rank requirement, expiry. The card shows who joined and the open slots, with Join, Leave and Close buttons.
Tick voice and BotGG creates a voice channel sized for the group in your LFG category — optionally private to the players — and deletes it when it empties or the LFG ends.
Each game can have an LFG notify role. Members opt in with /games play or /lfg notify, so pings reach people who actually play that game.
Steam, Riot ID, Epic, Battle.net, Xbox, PSN, Nintendo Switch and Minecraft. Steam and Riot links are verified when the APIs are connected.
Steam level, owned games, total and recent hours; League of Legends level, Solo/Flex rank, LP, win rate and top champion masteries. Valorant shows account-level info.
/games profile renders a neon PNG card with linked accounts, top stats and the games a member plays. Platform and player roles are given and removed automatically.
Open https://console.botgg.app, choose your server and switch on Games. Pick which platforms members can link and your default Riot server.
Add up to 25 games with an emoji, default group size, a player role and an LFG notify role. Quick-add presets make this a one-minute job.
Choose the LFG channel, a category for temporary voice channels, the default expiry, how many active LFGs one member may have and the card color. A live preview shows open, full and expired cards.
Members link accounts with /games link, pick their games with /games play and post groups with /lfg create. Groups fill up, the voice channel opens, and the card expires on its own.
An LFG post is a live card: the creator plus the players who joined, open slots, the rank requirement, the voice channel and when it expires. When the last slot is taken, the card turns green and the group is pinged once. Anyone can leave to reopen a slot; the creator or a moderator can close it. Expired LFGs are greyed out and their buttons removed automatically.
Temporary voice channels are created in the category you choose, inherit its permissions and get a user limit of the group size. In private mode only the creator and joined players can connect. They are cleaned up when they empty, when the LFG closes and during regular cleanup.
/lfg create game [voice], /lfg list, /lfg close, /lfg notify/games link, /games unlink, /games profile, /games stats, /games playBotGG doesn’t read what members are playing from their status. Instead members choose their games in /games play — two menus: games I play and LFG pings — and the bot gives the matching roles. Link a platform and you get its platform role; unlink and it’s removed. The console lists every linked account with filters and a verified badge.
Stats need the Steam Web API and the Riot API to be connected on the bot; the console shows whether they are. Without them, linking, profiles, roles and LFG all still work. Running scheduled raids with sign-ups? See the raid sign-ups guide and Parties. For always-on join-to-create voice, use Lobbies.

An LFG bot lets members post that they need players for a game, and others join with a button. BotGG adds notify roles, rank requirements, auto-expiry and temporary voice channels.
Enable Games in the BotGG console, set the LFG channel and a voice category, and add your games. Members then use /lfg create — the card is posted in that channel.
Yes, when the Steam and Riot APIs are connected on the bot: /games stats shows Steam level and hours, or League rank, LP, win rate and masteries. Valorant is limited to account info, because match and rank data need special Riot approval.
Yes. Members pick their games with /games play and get the player role you set for each game; linking a platform gives its platform role. BotGG doesn’t track presence, so roles never flicker.
It’s deleted automatically when everyone leaves, when the LFG is closed or when it expires.
