Discord server directory: list your server on botgg.app

Turn on the Server Directory and your community gets its own public page on botgg.app/servers: your tagline, description, tags and links, a permanent invite and member counts the bot refreshes every day. It is off until a server manager switches it on, and every listing is reviewed before it goes live.

Bumping a server in the directory

What you get

A page that search engines can read

Each listed server gets a static page in English, Russian and Hebrew, plus tag and category pages, so people searching for “Minecraft Discord servers” or “study servers” can find you.

Off until you publish

Enabling the feature never lists anything. A member with Manage Server turns on “Publish this server” and confirms the public listing; turning it off removes the server at once.

Reviewed listings only

New listings and every text change are reviewed by the BotGG team. NSFW and age-restricted servers are never listed, and anyone can report a listing.

Invite and counts kept fresh

BotGG creates a permanent invite for you or uses yours, checks it every day and refreshes approximate member and online counts. A broken invite hides the listing until it works again.

Bump to the top

Members run /directory bump every 6 hours to move the server up. The ranking also counts activity totals from Insights, size and how new the listing is, never message content.

Show your best pages

Link your public events calendar, Levels leaderboard and tournament brackets right from the directory page, along with your website and socials.

How it works

  1. Write your listing

Open https://console.botgg.app, pick your server and enable Server Directory. Add a tagline, a description, a category, up to 8 tags, languages and links, and watch the live preview.

  2. Choose the invite

Let BotGG create a permanent invite to a channel you pick, or paste an existing invite that never expires.

  3. Publish

Save, then switch on “Publish this server in the public directory” and confirm. The listing goes live as soon as BotGG approves it.

  4. Bump and grow

Share /directory bump with your members and check your rank with /directory status.

How the BotGG Server Directory works

A server needs at least 10 members, a working permanent invite and no NSFW or age-restricted flag in Discord to be listed. Member and online counts come from the invite, so BotGG needs no extra Discord permissions to read them. The page shows only the version of your text that BotGG approved: while an edit waits for review, the approved one stays public.

Servers are ordered by a published score: a fresh bump counts most and fades by half every 12 hours, active communities and bigger servers get a little more, and new listings get a short boost. Combine the directory with Partnerships to grow through other communities and Invites & Rewards to see where new members come from.

  • /directory bump: move this server up in the directory (once every 6 hours)
  • /directory status: listing state, rank overall and in each tag, link to the page

Frequently asked questions

How do I add my server to a Discord server list?

Enable Server Directory in the BotGG console, fill in your listing and switch on “Publish this server in the public directory”. After a quick review your server has its own page on botgg.app.

Is my server listed automatically?

No. Nothing is listed until a member with Manage Server turns on publishing and confirms it. Switching it off removes the server from the directory immediately.

How often can we bump?

Once every 6 hours per server with /directory bump. Anyone in the server can bump while the listing is public.

Which servers can’t be listed?

Servers marked NSFW or age-restricted in Discord, servers with fewer than 10 members and servers without a working permanent invite. Listings that break the BotGG Terms are removed.

Does it cost anything?

No. The Server Directory is free on every plan.

Ready to level up your server?

Add BotGG for free, then switch features on in the web console.
