Referral Program Terms

1. How it works

1. Every console user has a personal referral link.
2. A friend opens your link and signs in to the BotGG console for the first time within the attribution window (30 days by default). The first referral link they open counts. Later links don't replace it.
3. The friend adds BotGG to a Discord server they manage. The server must have at least the required number of human members (10 by default), and the bot must stay there for the required time (3 days by default).
4. When all the rules are met, the referral "qualifies", and both of you receive Pro days (7 days each by default).

2. Who can take part

• You must follow the Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy.
• Self-referrals are forbidden. You can't invite yourself or your own other accounts, and servers you own or manage don't count.
• Each person can be referred only once, and each server can earn a reward only once.
• The friend must be new to BotGG's paid plans, unless we say otherwise on the "Invite friends" page.
• Discord accounts that are very new, and referrals that look unusual, are reviewed by our team before any reward.

3. The reward

• Pro days unlock only the Pro plan features for one server. They don't give a Custom Bot, Network or White Label plan.
• You choose which of your servers gets your days. Until you choose, the days wait in your "Pro days wallet".
• Days add up: new days extend a running referral grant.
• Days never extend or change a PayPal subscription. If the server you pick has a paid plan, the days wait in your wallet and are applied when that plan ends. You can also apply them to another server.
• There are limits on rewards per month and on the days you can keep in your wallet. Days above the wallet limit are not added.
• Pro days have no cash value. They can't be sold, transferred, exchanged for money or refunded, and they don't count as a payment.

4. Abuse and revocation

We may refuse, hold, or revoke a referral and its Pro days if we reasonably believe the Program was abused. Examples include fake or duplicate accounts, servers created only to earn rewards, bought or artificial members, spam, or misleading promotion. If we revoke a reward, unused days are removed, and a running grant may end at once. Serious or repeated abuse may lead to further measures under the Terms of Service.

5. Changes and ending the Program

The Program is a free promotion. We may change the rules, the number of days or the limits, pause the Program, or end it at any time. Changes don't take away days you have already received, except under section 4. If we end the Program, referrals that haven't qualified yet won't earn a reward.

6. Privacy

To run the Program we record who invited whom, the referral status, the server that qualified, and the Pro days earned and applied. To detect self-referrals and fraud, we keep a salted hash of your IP address from sign-in (never the IP address itself) for 30 days, and compare it with the hash from the other person's sign-in. When you open a referral link, the console sets a first-party botgg_ref cookie (HttpOnly) with the referral code and the time you opened the link. It is kept for at most the attribution window (30 days by default) and is deleted when you sign in. Our website stores nothing: if you open a website page with a referral code (?ref=), its links to the console simply go through the referral link (/r/<code>), and only the console sets the cookie.
