Time Capsule lets your community write to its future self. Staff create a server capsule, say “Capsule 2027”, members seal a message into it, and nobody can read a word until the opening date. Then the bot reveals every message in your channel and DMs each author. Members can also seal a personal capsule to themselves for a few months.

Server capsules with a date
Create capsules in the console with an opening date and time in your server’s time zone, and optionally a date after which sealing stops.
Personal capsules
Members write to their future self for 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 months (you choose which), revealed in your channel or in their DMs.
A big reveal
On the opening date the bot posts every message with its sealed date, batched so the channel stays readable, pings a role once, and DMs each author a link.
Safe after opening
Members can report a revealed message with one button. Staff review reports in the console and remove the text, and the reveal post updates within seconds.
Easy to write
/capsule write opens a short form with your message and an optional link to an image, clip or song. Blocked links are refused before anything is sealed.

Private until the day it opens
Time capsules only work if nobody peeks. The text of a sealed message is not shown in the console, not sent to Flows (they only get its length) and not written to the audit log. Staff can still remove a sealed message without reading it, for example when the author asks.
Each capsule opens exactly once, even after a bot restart, and every author is told when their message is out. Capsules collecting messages at the same time: 1 on the Free plan, 5 on Pro. Revealed messages are deleted 12 months after opening; the capsule keeps its counts.

Frequently asked questions
What is a Discord time capsule?
A collection of messages that stay hidden until a set date. Members write something now — a prediction, a memory, a note to their future self — and the whole server reads it together when the capsule opens.
Can the staff read the messages before they open?
No. Until the opening date the console only shows who sealed a message, when and how long it is. Staff can remove a sealed message, but they can’t read it.
Can I change my mind after sealing?
Yes. /capsule mine lists your sealed messages and lets you withdraw one; it is deleted for good. Once a capsule has opened, the message is public in the reveal channel.
What is a personal capsule?
A message to yourself that opens after a number of months the server offers (from 1 to 24). It is revealed in the capsule channel or sent to your DMs, depending on the server’s settings.
How many capsules can a server run?
Capsules collecting messages at the same time: 1 on the Free plan and 5 on Pro. Opened capsules don’t count. See pricing for every plan.
