Up to 20 options
Up to 10 options become buttons with your emoji; longer polls switch to a select menu automatically. Members can pick one option or several — you set the limit.
Discord’s built-in polls are fine for a quick question. When you need anonymous voting, role-only polls, votes weighted by rank or a clean results chart, the BotGG Discord poll bot does it — create polls with /poll create or from the web console.
/poll create duration:2d

Up to 10 options become buttons with your emoji; longer polls switch to a select menu automatically. Members can pick one option or several — you set the limit.
Every option shows a Unicode bar, a percentage and a vote count that update as people vote. Or hide results until the poll ends to avoid bandwagon votes.
Turn on anonymity and nobody — not even staff — can see who voted for what. Non-anonymous polls let managers see voters per option.
Give roles a weight from 1 to 100. In a weighted poll each member counts with the highest weight among their roles — handy for council or officer votes.
Limit a poll to one role, so only members, subscribers or a clan roster can vote. Everyone else gets a polite explanation instead of a silent failure.
When a poll closes, the post shows the winner (or a tie) and can attach a PNG results chart in BotGG’s neon style, ready to screenshot and share.
Open https://console.botgg.app, pick your server and switch on Polls. Choose the allowed channels, who may create polls and who manages them.
Default duration, live or hidden results, anonymity, role weights, the chart and an optional role to ping when a poll goes live.
Type /poll create in Discord and fill in the form — question plus one option per line — or build it in the console with a live preview.
The poll ends on its timer, with /poll end or the End now button. Final bars, the winner and the chart replace the buttons.
Quick “which map tonight?” polls and serious votes need different rules. With BotGG each poll carries its own settings: how long it runs (from minutes to 4 weeks, or no end at all), how many options a member may pick, whether results are live or hidden, whether it is anonymous and which role may vote.
Voting is simple for members: click a button to vote, click it again to take the vote back, or use Remove my vote. The Results button shows your own vote privately. Poll managers get an ephemeral preview of hidden results and an End now button.

Yes. Set anonymous:true on /poll create or make it the server default in the console. In an anonymous poll nobody can see who voted for what — including admins.
In the console you give roles a weight from 1 to 100. When you create a poll with weighted:true, each vote counts with the member’s highest role weight, and the bars show both the vote count and the weight.
Yes — set max_choices. Members toggle options up to that number; with a select menu they simply pick several entries at once.
Native polls are great for quick questions. BotGG adds role-only and role-weighted voting, true anonymity control, hidden-until-end results, a results chart, polls created from the console and up to 20 options.
