BotGG 1.4.4: 16 new features for community, creators and safety

The biggest feature drop we've ever shipped. Every new feature is off until you enable it in the console, and its slash commands only appear on servers that use it. Every new feature also works in Flows as triggers and actions.

Community

• Community Goals. The whole server chips in coins toward a shared goal, with a live progress bar and milestone posts at 25, 50, 75 and 100%. Reaching it unlocks roles, coins or a Flow; a goal that misses its deadline can refund everyone automatically. Goals can also track members, messages or boosts. /goal · Free 2 / Pro 20 active goals. • Bounty Board. Members post a task with a coin reward held in escrow: claim, submit, approve, paid. Disputes go to staff, and cancelled or expired bounties are refunded. An optional server fee works as a currency sink. /bounty Learn more
• Question of the Day. A daily question with an answer thread, streaks and a leaderboard. Members suggest questions and staff approve them; when the queue runs dry, built-in packs in English, Russian and Hebrew take over. /qotd Learn more
• Buddies. Every newcomer is paired with a volunteer from your community in a private thread. When the newcomer reaches a milestone, their buddy is rewarded. /buddy Learn more
• Time Capsule. Seal a message today and open it in 6 or 12 months, or on a date staff choose. Nobody can read it before then, not even staff. /capsule Learn more
• Community Pet. Your server adopts a pet that grows from an egg to legendary. Chat activity, coins and Shop treats feed it, and it makes daily wishes. Six species. /pet Learn more

Creators and hobbies

• Contests. Art, clips, screenshots, builds: submissions, then voting, then results. Community votes, judge scorecards or both, an anonymous mode, prizes and an optional public gallery page (off until you publish it). /contest · Free 3 / Pro 15 active contests. Learn more
• Personas. Roleplay as your characters: write in your character's brackets and BotGG reposts the message with the character's name and avatar. • Study Rooms. Pomodoro timers in voice channels. Focus time only counts while you're in the room, with streaks, weekly goals, rewards and a leaderboard. /focus Learn more
• Calendar Sync. One link puts your server's events, tournaments, parties and opt-in birthdays into Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar. Members can get a personal feed with only what they signed up for. Events in the feed need Pro. /calendar Learn more

Safety and staff

• BotGG Shield. An opt-in trust network across BotGG servers. Someone banned for raids, scams or nukes on several servers gets flagged when they join yours, and you choose what happens: alert, quarantine, verification, kick or ban. Servers only ever see counts, never which server banned someone or why; brand-new and tiny servers don't count, and one owner counts once. Wrongly flagged members can request a review. • Rules as Code. Numbered rules (3.2) with versions and a diff, an "I accept the rules" button, and re-acceptance after major changes. /warn, /timeout, /kick and /ban get a rule: option, and the member's DM quotes the rule. /rule 3.2 Learn more
• Staff shifts and coverage map. Weekly shifts with an automatic on-call role and reminders, plus /oncall to see who's on duty. A new opt-in coverage heatmap shows busy hours with no staff and alerts you when nobody is covering. /shift · /oncall Learn more
• Forum Manager. For forum channels: required tags, a Mark solved button and /solved, stale posts closed after a warning, a welcome message, Help Center suggestions and solve-rate stats. Learn more

For server owners

• Churn Radar. Spots regulars who suddenly went quiet and alerts staff. When they come back: a welcome-back role or coins. An optional win-back DM is off by default, capped, and has a "Don't message me again" button. Learn more
• Owner Digest. A daily, weekly or monthly summary in your DMs: growth and leaves, busiest channels, open tickets, Churn Radar, your Server Doctor score with top tips, and pending applications and appeals. Learn more

Improvements

• Commands per server. New features register their slash commands only on servers that enabled them, so your command list stays clean.
• Console: feature pages show a note while their commands are being added, or why they couldn't be.
• Server Doctor: new checks for missing forum permissions and unregistered commands.

Fixes

• Console Team: a permission check could be bypassed with unusual capitalisation. Fixed.
• Custom Bot: restarting no longer wipes the server's Custom Commands.
• Welcome cards: symbols like → no longer flip the text direction.
