An Invite Tracker alternative that rewards invites that stick

Invite Tracker is known as a Discord bot for tracking who invited whom, with invite leaderboards and rewards. If you’re weighing an Invite Tracker alternative, BotGG’s Invites & Rewards matches every join to its invite, only counts members who stay, and pays out coins, XP and milestone roles — set up in one web console.

What servers usually want from an invite tracker

An invite tracker answers two questions: how did this member get in, and who is actually growing the server. The first matters for safety, the second for motivation — a leaderboard and rewards turn members into recruiters.

The catch is cheating. If every join counts, a few throwaway accounts top the leaderboard. BotGG counts an invite only after the new member has stayed for a while (24 hours by default), has an account old enough and isn’t part of a same-day batch of accounts from one inviter. Rejoins never count twice.

Tracking, personal links and anti-cheat

Each join is matched to a normal invite, a member’s personal link or your vanity URL. When two people join at once and the bot can’t be sure, the join is recorded as unknown rather than guessed. With /invite link every member gets their own never-expiring invite, so their joins are credited exactly.

/invites stats shows a member’s verified, pending, left, fake and bonus invites, /invites who tells staff how anyone joined, and staff can add, remove or reset counts with an audit trail. Fake and left invites stay visible — they just don’t earn.

Leaderboards, rewards and the rest of the funnel

Invites connect to other BotGG modules:

  • Rewards — coins through Bank and XP through Levels for every verified invite, plus milestone roles and titles (3 milestones on Free, 25 on Pro).
  • Leaderboards and seasons — /invites leaderboard for the month or all time; at the end of each monthly season the top three can win coins, XP and a role. Bring-a-friend campaigns with boosted rewards are free on every plan.
  • Welcome messages — the greeting can name the inviter with {inviter} and their count with {invites}.
  • Stat channels — a live member counter in the channel list shows the growth your recruiters bring.
  • BotGG Links — a short link with its own invite, so views, Join clicks and real joins are counted for every post or ad.
  • Logs — every join entry shows account age and the invite that was used.

How to switch to BotGG

  1. Invite BotGG with the right permissions

Add BotGG with the invite link. Manage Server makes tracking exact, Create Invite allows personal links and Manage Roles lets it give milestone roles.

  2. Set rewards and anti-cheat

In the console, enable Invites & Rewards, choose coins and XP per invite, add milestones and check the anti-cheat defaults.

  3. Carry over top recruiters

There is no import. Staff can give key members a starting bonus with /invites add so earlier work isn’t lost.

  4. Switch off the old tracker

Turn off invite messages and rewards in the old bot so members don’t get two announcements or two sets of roles.

Frequently asked questions

Is BotGG a good Invite Tracker alternative?

If you need to know who invited whom, keep a fair leaderboard and reward real invites, BotGG covers that. Try it next to your current setup on your own server.

Can I import invite counts?

No. Counting starts when Invites & Rewards is enabled. Staff can add bonus invites with /invites add to carry over earlier totals by hand.

Why does an invite show as pending?

An invite counts only after the new member has stayed for the verification time (24 hours by default) and, if you enable it, passed BotGG Verification.

What does BotGG cost?

Invite tracking, rewards and bring-a-friend campaigns work on every plan; Pro raises the milestone limit. See the pricing page.

Is BotGG affiliated with Invite Tracker?
