Statbot is known as a statistics bot that tracks how active a Discord server is. What server owners usually want from a stats bot

Most servers ask a stats bot the same few questions: are we growing or shrinking, how much do people actually talk, who are the most active members, and which invite or post brought new people in. A good answer is a chart you can read in seconds, plus a few numbers visible to members so the community feels alive.

BotGG answers those questions with several modules instead of one big analytics product. That keeps it honest about scope: you get server-wide daily totals and growth charts, not a per-channel or per-word breakdown.

Server stats in the console

The overview page of every server in the console has one range filter (7, 30 or 90 days) above all stats. Tiles show members, online members, joins and leaves, messages, slash commands used and boosts, each compared with the previous period. Two charts show messages per day and joins against leaves, with tooltips on hover and keyboard, and every chart can be switched to a data table.

Feature pages add their own numbers: Levels has a dashboard and leaderboards by XP, voice time, messages and streak; Invites & Rewards charts verified invites per day and joins by source; BotGG Links counts page views, Join clicks and real joins for each short link.

Live counters, leaderboards and join records in Discord

Some stats belong where members can see them:

  • Stat channels — voice or category channels named like 👥 Members: 12,480, with variables for members, humans, bots, online, people in voice, boosts, boost tier, the date, the top level and the coin supply. Renames respect Discord’s rate limit. Free servers get 3 counters, Pro 15.
  • Levels — /leaderboard by XP, voice time, messages, streak or season, /rank cards, and an optional public leaderboard page.
  • Logs — join entries with account age, member number and the invite that was used, plus leaves, edits, deletions and voice moves in the channels you choose.
  • Invites & Rewards — who invited whom, /invites leaderboard and rewards for invites that stick.

How to switch to BotGG

  1. Invite BotGG

Add BotGG with the invite link. Give it Manage Channels for counters and Manage Server so invite tracking is exact.

  2. Open the overview

In the console, the server overview starts collecting daily activity once the bot is in; the page shows the date tracking began.

  3. Add counters and logs

Enable Stat channels and add a Members or Online counter from the presets, then turn on Logs and pick a channel for member joins.

  4. Retire duplicate counters

Delete the old bot’s counter channels once BotGG’s are live, so Discord’s rename limit isn’t shared between two bots.

Frequently asked questions

Is BotGG a good Statbot alternative?

If you mainly need growth and activity charts, live member counters, activity leaderboards and invite sources, BotGG covers those. It doesn’t break messages down per channel or per word, so compare on your own server first.

Can I import my old statistics?

No. BotGG starts counting when it joins your server, and the overview shows the date tracking began.

How often do stat channels update?

Values are checked every minute, but a channel is renamed only when its text changed and Discord’s rename limit allows it, so updates can take a few minutes.

What does BotGG cost?

The console overview is available on every plan. See the pricing page for counter limits and what each plan includes.

Is BotGG affiliated with Statbot?

No. BotGG is an independent bot. Statbot is mentioned here only to describe a common use case.

Statbot is a trademark of its respective owner. BotGG is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Statbot. We only describe BotGG’s own capabilities; check the official website of Statbot for its current features and terms.
