A Wick alternative for anti-nuke, anti-raid and server security
Wick is widely known as a security bot for Discord, used mainly against nukes and raids. If you’re evaluating a Wick alternative, BotGG covers that ground with anti-nuke, anti-raid, phishing protection, verification and backups — plus moderation, logs and ban appeals — all configured in one web console.

What a Wick alternative needs to cover
Servers that pick a security-first bot usually want the same things: stop a compromised admin or rogue bot from deleting channels and roles, stop waves of fake accounts from flooding chat, keep scam links out, and get back to normal quickly when something still slips through.
In BotGG those jobs are split across Moderation (anti-nuke, anti-raid, phishing protection, AutoMod and the panic button), Verification, Backups, Logs and Ban appeals. The console’s Protection tab shows a protection score with suggested fixes, the incident log and quarantined members in one place.
Anti-nuke: per-user limits, quarantine and auto-restore
With the View Audit Log permission, anti-nuke counts destructive actions per person within a time window: channel and role deletions or creations, bans, kicks, unbans, webhooks and emoji or sticker deletions — each with its own threshold. Some events trigger instantly: a role gaining dangerous permissions, a bot being added, or the server name or vanity URL changing.
- Trusted users and roles — the owner and people you trust are never punished; a trusted role only counts after it has been held for a while, and handing it out is itself a trigger.
- Responses — quarantine (roles removed and a locked-down Quarantine role added, restorable later), strip roles, kick, ban or alert only.
- Revert — dangerous permissions are taken back and bots the attacker added are kicked; undoing a server rename or deleting their webhooks needs extra permissions, and the alert says what couldn’t be reverted.
- Auto-restore (free on every plan) — deleted channels and roles are recreated from the newest backup taken before the attack.
- Actions through BotGG count too — bans and kicks someone makes the bot perform are attributed to them, not to the bot.
Anti-raid, phishing links, verification and recovery
Anti-raid detects a burst of joins by rate or by a smart raid score built from account age, default avatars, similar usernames and a shared invite. A raid locks the chosen channels, sends newcomers through a captcha (with Verification on), can kick or ban the suspicious cluster and posts an alert with Ban all / Kick all buttons; it ends by itself after a calm period. A join gate can turn away very new or avatar-less accounts at any time, and /panic start locks every channel and pauses invites in one step.
Phishing protection checks links against public phishing lists refreshed every few hours, a lookalike check for fake Discord and Steam domains, and your own block and allow lists (20 entries on Free, 500 on Pro). Verification offers a button, rules, an image captcha or questions, with an account-age gate and a staff review queue. Backups snapshot roles, channels and permissions (/backup create, scheduled on Pro) and restore them with a dry run first; Logs record what happened, and Ban appeals give wrongly banned members a fair way back.
| What you need | How BotGG covers it |
|---|---|
| Stop mass channel and role deletions | Anti-nuke thresholds per person, counted from the audit log |
| Whitelist trusted admins | Trusted users and roles, with a settle time for newly granted roles |
| Neutralise the attacker | Quarantine, strip roles, kick, ban or alert only |
| Undo the damage | Revert of dangerous permissions and added bots; auto-restore from a backup on every plan |
| Raid protection | Rate or smart raid score, channel lockdown, captcha gate and bulk actions |
| Emergency lockdown | /panic start and /panic end, also from the console |
| Scam and phishing links | Public phishing lists, lookalike detection and custom block/allow lists |
| Verification of new members | Button, rules, image captcha or questions, plus an account-age gate |
| Server backups | Snapshots of roles, channels and permissions with add, sync or full restore |
| Audit trail | Logs per category and numbered moderation cases |
BotGG features for this
Anti-nuke
Per-user nuke detection from the audit log, quarantine, automatic revert and channel restore from a backup.
Anti-raid
A raid score for every join burst, automatic lockdown, a captcha gate and one-click bans for raid accounts.
Phishing protection
Scam and fake-gift links deleted on sight: public phishing lists, a look-alike detector and your own lists.

Cases, escalating warnings, AutoMod, anti-raid mode, anti-nuke, a panic button and phishing link protection.
Verification
Gate new members with a button, rules, an image captcha or questions before they see the server.
Backups
Snapshot roles, channels, permissions and settings — restore after a nuke or copy a server as a template.
Logs
Color-coded server logs per category and an invite tracker that shows who brought whom.
Ban appeals
A web appeal form for banned members, reviewed with buttons in Discord or in the console.
How to switch to BotGG
Invite BotGG with its permissions
Add BotGG with the invite link — it asks for View Audit Log, which per-user anti-nuke needs — and move its role as high as possible, since it can only act on roles below it.
Take a first backup
Enable Backups and run
/backup create, so restores and anti-nuke auto-restore have something to work from.Set up protection
In the console open Moderation → Protection: add trusted users and roles, choose anti-nuke thresholds and a response, then configure anti-raid, the join gate and phishing protection.
Add verification and appeals
Choose a verification method and post the panel, then enable Ban appeals so banned members get a link to appeal.
Avoid two bots responding
Once BotGG is tested, turn off the overlapping protections in the old bot so an attacker isn’t punished twice and alerts don’t arrive in duplicate.
Frequently asked questions
Is BotGG a good Wick alternative?
If you need anti-nuke, anti-raid, phishing protection, verification and backups, BotGG covers those use cases and adds moderation, logs and ban appeals. Test it on your server before relying on it.
Does anti-nuke work without the View Audit Log permission?
Only in a limited mode: deletions and bans are counted server-wide and BotGG alerts staff, but it can’t tell who did it. Grant View Audit Log for per-user protection.
Can BotGG restore deleted channels and roles?
Yes, from a backup. Restores are always previewed first, and on every plan anti-nuke can also recreate deleted channels and roles automatically.
Can I protect admins I trust?
Yes. Add them as trusted users or give them a trusted role; the server owner is always trusted.
Is BotGG affiliated with Wick?
No. BotGG is an independent bot. Wick is mentioned here only to describe a common use case.
Wick is a trademark of its respective owner. BotGG is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Wick. We only describe BotGG’s own capabilities; check the official website of Wick for its current features and terms.
